It was a packed house at The Laird last week during A Week of Leather (A.W.O.L) when the Laird Leatherman contest returned after several years on hiatus. Five worthy contestants left it all on the stage in a diverse contest that contained so much entertainment, from wet and messy performances, to poetry, to bondage and impact play, and burlesque!
It was a very exciting contest and we were glad not to be involved in the judging, as each contestant was a standout in their own way!
Huge congratulations to our very own assistant manager Jay, who walked away with the sash! The sash, made by our friends at Lucrezia and De Sade, is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best we've ever seen!
We wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the contestants who created an incredibly entertaining evening and who had the courage to get up, stand up and platform their community!
As the winner of the contest, Jay will receive a $300 voucher and $500 towards his travel fund, courtesy of Eagle Leather.
